Product Description
This roof‑top insulation has been specifically developed for the Mercedes Marco Polo (W447, from 2014 onwards) and provides thermal and acoustic insulation, blackout functionality and reliable wind protection. The system consists of four precisely fitted elements that are connected using high‑quality hook‑and‑loop fasteners. The side elements feature two ventilation flaps with zippers, similar to the factory bellows. Since the roof height may vary slightly depending on the vehicle, the side panels include a small oversize that is folded inward to prevent thermal bridging.
Magnetic Mounting
The insulation is attached using strong magnets sewn into the hem. Self‑adhesive metal pads, mounted on the aluminium frame of the pop‑up roof, serve as contact points. Installation requires no drilling and no removal of interior trim. The metal pads reach their full adhesive strength after approx. 72 hours and can be removed without leaving residue if necessary. Important Notice:
A total of 42 metal pads are required for the complete installation of the insulation. These are
not included in the delivery and must be ordered separately.
