Project Camper Metal Pad Black – for Magnetic Roof‑Top Insulation (Single Piece)
This self‑adhesive metal pad serves as a contact surface for the magnetic roof‑top insulation or magnetic thermal mats. It enables secure attachment in areas where the vehicle body is covered by interior trim. Drilling or removing trim panels is not required.
Product Description
The metal pad is applied to a clean, dry and grease‑free surface and reaches its full adhesive strength after around 72 hours at room temperature. It is suitable for smooth surfaces such as plastic, non‑magnetic metals (e.g. aluminium) or window glass. It is not suitable for textile or rubberised surfaces, tinted window films or heating wires.
Since no permanent modifications to the vehicle are required for installation, the metal pad can be removed without leaving residue if necessary. Installation instructions can be found in the linked manual PDF.
Important Notice
A total of 42 metal pads are required for the magnetic roof‑top insulation.
