Payment options

The following payment methods are accepted on our online store:

  • Klarna Pay Now (instant bank transfer, direct debit)
  • Klarna Pay Later (purchase on account)
  • Klarna Financing (installment purchase)
  • Credit Card (VISA und MasterCard)

Payment by credit card

How dows payment bey credit card work in the Daimler Truck online shop?
Simply select "credit card" as the desired means of payment during the ordering process. Then please have the following credit card daty ready:

  • card number
  • validity period
  • card verification number
  • cardholder

You will then be redirected to a new page for authentication by your bank. You have to approve the process via e.g. your banking app on your cell phone. Once you have done this, the status in your browser will change. Please do not close this page before the payment has been confirmed. You will then redirectet back to the store.

If your payment fails, you will receive another e-mail after your order confirmation with the information that the payment could not be processed. This can be due to the following reasons:

  • You closed the window in which we forwarded you to the confirmation page too early. After you have approved the payment at your bank or credit card company, it will take a moment (approx. 10 seconds) for you to be automatically redirected to the Daimler Truck Shop.
  • You have not fully approved the payment via your bank or credit card company (if the confirmation was successful, the status in your browser will turn green.
  • Disable the activated pop-up blocker in your browser.
  • Your credit card is not activated for stron authentication (3D-Secure procedure). Please get in touch with your bank or credit card company.
  • Your browser is out of date.

How does the strong authentication work? (3D-Secure procedure)
In order for you be able to pay with your credit card in the Daimler Truck Shop and in other online stores without any problems, your credit card must be activated one at your bank for strong authentication. The registration process and the identification procedure may differ between banks. Threfore, please contact your bank directly if you have any questions.

Payment by Klarna (only for private costumers)

Purchase on account:
With our partner Klarna you can easily pay your order by invoice. The payment term is 30 days from the date of shipment of the goods. As a rule, you pay for your goods only after you have received and checked them. All relevant payment information will be sent you by email from Klarna. A few days before the due date you will receive areminder from Klarna. You can also view the payment information in the Klarna app or online at www.klarna.com .

Klarna Pay Now
Choose Klarna Pay Now to transfer the amount directly to the merchant via your bank. No registration is required for this. Secure payment is ensured through multilevel authentication with your online banking date. The merchant does not get access to confidential date.

Klarna installment purchase
Select Klarna Installment Purchase as your payment option at the store checkout. You choose your desired schedule and interest rate. Please follow the steps to fill out the application. You will receive an approval decision directly and complete your purchase. Once the store ships your order, you will receive an email from Klarna with your payment schedule.

Why can't I select Klarna as my payment method?
  • Klarna is not available for all countries. In this case, please choose the credit card payment method.
  • Klarna performs a quick check when processing the payment and checks previous purchases. In case of dicrepancies, you may temporarly not be able to select an invoide in the checkout. We recommend that you resolve this directly with Klarna or select another payment option.
  • If you want to shop as a commercial customer, please use the credit card payment

Please note that payment is made exclusively through Klarna and please do not transfer the amount to us twice. If you purchase on account via Klarna, please note their conditions and privacy policy.
