The bike rack can be used without tail light repetition and therefore without power supply to the rear and the tailgate can be opened when not loaded.

To avoid the independent closing of the tailgate, you can replace the gas pressure dampers of the tailgate (A4479800364/64 - 1060Nm).

Unload bicycles
Secure the carrier flap against folding down
On Marco Polo variants with the roof open: remove the retaining arms of the rear bicycle carrier
